The Founder and Having A Life
Nowhere in the handbook for starting a nonprofit organization does it say to not go out, have a few drinks, take a holiday regularly, and be normal. In other words, have a life. It’s not easy to disconnect from your organization. You will have a never ending stream of financial, government, compliance and programmatic problems to deal with. Those cannot be an excuse to abandon having a balanced life.
