Welcome . . .

In 2006, my friends and I did something that would forever change my life; we donated a library to an orphanage in China. Soon after, I founded The Library Project,¬†an International non-profit organization that has provided an additional 2,600 libraries to rural elementary schools, orphanages and community centers in Asia. We’ve impacted over one million children and provided training to an additional 20,000 teachers and administrators. I am incredibly proud of what our team achieves every day. It’s not easy work.

I fight every day to show that normal people have the power to help others. This website is meant to share how I built an organization that achieves amazing things every day, while also maintaining a semblance of sanity in the process. This is not a blog on International development work, it’s a blog about being an International development worker.
